About Me

Welcome to Madelicious

Hi, I’m Madison.

My family has called me Madelicious since I was little. So maybe I was destined to have a passion for making life delicious.

Madelicious.com is about more than just cooking up flavorful meals. It is about living a life that is delicious… tasty, enjoyable, fulfilling. It is the fusion of my three passions in life: cooking, fitness, and my husband.

I grew up in the kitchen with my mom who has the gift of hospitality. She serves up “love on a plate” better than anyone I know. That early-life kitchen inspiration took me into the catering business at age 15. I spent the next seven years working every aspect of catering, learning about food prep, cooking, presentation, serving, and sanitation. It was grueling, sometimes-grimey work, but I loved it!

I have also been an athlete all my life, playing soccer, basketball, volleyball, and even racing motocross. I love working out and feeling fit. That led me to study Kinesiology in college so I could better understand the way our bodies work and the role that nutrition plays in our healthy, happy lives. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and obtained my Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (C.S.C.S.) accreditation. I currently manage a fitness studio in Colorado and love helping people become a better version of themselves.

Shortly after graduating, I married the love of my life, Michael. A number of my friends also got married, and I quickly learned that most of them were intimidated by the thought of cooking for their new hubbies. They all wanted to be good wives who served up delicious meals, but they lacked the skills and confidence to do so. They turned to me for help, and I realized I could teach them and other new brides how to make easy, delicious, healthy meals to fuel their husbands and their marriages.

Thus my three passions converged into madelicious.com. I love sharing my cooking experiences so that you and your friends can enjoy healthy, flavorful lives and flourishing marriages.

A great life starts with great food. It is the building block of our bodies and our relationships. Our bodies need proper nutrition to thrive, and our marriages need the relational fuel that occurs when we share a great meal together.

Join me as we strive to make life delicious!
